The Wizard - 1 Board is a small 9 Volt dc powered interface board that will record and playback up to 5 minutes of servo motion for 4 standard 5 Vdc hobby R/C type servos and control 4 digital switched ON and OFF outputs at +4.5 Vdc (100 mA) per channel.

The Wizard - 1 board incorporates many features such as looping playback servo motion with variable delay between loops. An auto start-up on power option and on board connector for remote activation switching such as a PIR sensor, contact switch or mat pressure pad to initiate playback.

Recording sessions are built up on a channel by channel process - no complex programming is required. During recording, all previously recorded channels are re-played to aid synchronization the current channel being programmed. Programming is easily done, with a set of push button keys and control potentiometer built onto the board.
No host computer or other programming device is needed to operate the board, Board has 7-bit Resolution.

Wizard-3 Manual / Overview

The Wizard 3 board will record and playback up to 4 separate tracks for up to 8 R/C type servos channels and 8 digital channels. The maximum recording time per track is 3 minutes for multiple track operation or 6 minutes for single track operation. The card incorporates features such as looping action with variable delay between loops, auto start-up on power up, a connection interface for a PIR, remote switch or pressure pad to initiate playback and the ability to daisy-chain several
cards together. The card may be connected to the optional Sound Board Pro to provide audio accompaniment to the tracks.

Recording tracks are built up in real time on a channel-by-channel basis no programming is required.

During recording all previously recorded channels are re-played to aid synchronization.

NOTE: Controller requires 2 Power Supplies(1-9VDC and 1-5 or 6VDC)

The board incorporates such features as looping playback, variable delay between programmed routines, auto loop, auto start-up on power up, a connection terminal for remote switch activation by manual switch, PIR sensor, pressure pad, etc, to activate playback.

Recording sessions are built up on a channel-by-channel basis - no complex programming needed, or connection to a host computer to program routines. Application and Setup Overview

This board allows the use of an RC controller to select outputs for two servo inputs and control two SS relays. The Servo outputs and relays are controlled separately. Two servo inputs can be output to 6 different outputs. The RC joystick allows the user to select which of the 6 outputs to send the two servo inputs to. Moving the joystick left decrements the channel, moving it right increments the channel. The channel number selected is displayed on a 7 segment LED display. Once a channel has been selected, a 2 second time delay is started before enabling the outputs. After the delay has expired, the Channel Active Indicator (decimal point on LED Display) lights and the incoming servo signals are routed to the selected outputs. Power for the servos can be supplied by a single power supply (by inserting the shorting block next to the servo connector), or any servo can have a separate power source. This is attached at the terminal block just above the servo connector. In this case, the shorting block must be removed. All servo signals are optically isolated from the inputs.

The relays are also controlled by RC joysticks. Each relay is controlled by a separate joystick. Moving either joystick to the right will activate the associated relay. When the joystick is returned to the center, the relay is deactivated.

The board is powered by 12VDC and is attached to the Power Input Terminal block or the 2.1mm Power Jack. A terminal block is also supplied to allow the attachment of a remote switch which will bypass the on-board switch.

The Digital Sound Board - ProE is a full featured mono digital sound board with many unique features and applications.

Up to 4 - minutes recording time for 1 - mono channel or multiple mono channels (1-6). Sounds can be recorded to from any sound source, including a computer connection with audio output.
On-board 7 - watt mono amplifier with volume preset control for external 8 ohm speaker monitor. Line output jack for connection to large remote amplifier and speaker. Line input recording jack, for easy connection to sound input source. Playback (channels 1-6) under manual control, sensor, relay, automated controller board activation or direct computer control (all channels 1-6). Optional Sequence, Random or immediate On / Off playback board features available.

The supplied 4 - minute ISD sound chip has a great frequency response up to 3.4 KHz. and a audio sample rate of 8.0 KHz. Audio can be re-recorded up to 100,000 times and can be stored up to 100 years. Board is excellent for many Animatronic, Robotic and Haunted Industry applications where quality audio is required on a single easy to use device. Board is very easy to set-up, record to and use through on-board jumpers, audio in / out jacks and status operation LED's. Sound IC chip can be removed, for upgrade or saving of sound files.

The 4 Ch Sound System is engineered to deliver high quality 44.1khz sampling rate 16 bit digital audio fidelity, in stereo or mono playback from 4 different channels. The Wizard - 5 Board will record and playback up to 5 minutes of action for up to 2 servos and 2 digital outputs (on-board relays). It also incorporates a 4-minute audio recording and playback sound chip with the ability to control one servo channel either from recorded moves or from an audio signal, direct or from on-board sound chip.
The card includes features such as looping action with variable delay between loops, auto start-up on power up and a connection interface for a PIR, remote switch or pressure pad to initiate playback.
Recording sessions are built up on a track-by-track basis- no complex programming is required and no computer is needed. During recording, all previously recorded tracks are re-played to aid synchronization.

Class-D Stereo - Audio Amplifier

This amazing small size, 50 watt output mini audio amplifier can be used in animatronic, haunted house applications, museum, safety info delivey or entertainment applications. Anywhere a solid state, high quality audio amplifier is needed, that puts out an amazing amount of power, but barely gets warm. Great for use inside cabinets or small confined spaces.

Features of the Amp-50 include:

50 Watt Class-D stereo amplifier.
Integral Current Limit and Thermal Protection. Amp turns back on a moment after the fault is removed.
Works with most four to eight ohm speakers.
Two RCA line level inputs for feeding in external line level audio signals.

This unique board will allow the control of eight Bi-Color LEDs. and effects.

There are 3 modes of operation that can be selected. In Mode 1, the LEDs are strobed on and off. In Mode 2, the LEDs are faded on and off. In Mode 3, the LEDs are either full on or off. The color of the LEDs is selected by dry contact closure of the Remote Green LED Trigger or the Remote Red LED Trigger terminals. There is also an on-board pushbutton that can be used to select the LED color. In Modes 1 and 2, when both triggers are activated simultaneously, the colors jump back and forth (Red / Green). In Modes 1 and 2, the rates of strobing or fading can be adjusted by using the Mode 1 or Mode 2 speed potentiometers. The rates at which the colors jump back and forth in Modes 1 and 2 is determined by the on-board potentiometers

Optical fibers attached to single 5mm LED source.
Light shines out end of fibers. Fibers can be cut to various length as needed, glued, wired, or taped to secure in projects. Optical Fibers are attached to LED through special metal LED and fiber holder.

This Microprocessor controlled board was designed to produce 15 different light effects via 2 Bi-Color LEDs. A shadow moving across a CDS cell will trigger the selected effect. Once triggered, the effect will last for a period of time determined by the Cycle Time Potentiometer which can be up to 30 seconds long.

The rate at which the effect occurs (i.e., flashing, fading) is determined by the Rate Potentiometer. Every time an effect is triggered, a 80 mS pulse occurs at the Synch Output terminal block. This can be used to trigger another board.

All connections to the board are through small daughter boards. The board requires a 7.5 to 24V DC, 100 mA power supply.

Mode 1: Two LED's will strobe RED when activated.
Mode 2: Two LED's will strobe GREEN when activated.
Mode 3: Two LED's will fade RED up and down.
Mode 4: Two LED's will fade GREEN up and down.
Mode 5: One LED will strobe GREEN and the other will strobe RED.
Mode 6: One LED will fade up and down GREEN and the other LED will fade up and down RED.
Mode 7: LEDs will alternate strobing RED
Mode 8: LEDs will alternate strobing GREEN.
Mode 9: LEDs will alternate strobing RED and then GREEN.
Mode 10: One LED will strobe RED while the other LED fades up and down GREEN.
Mode 11: LEDs will fade up RED and then stay on for one minute and then fade down.
Mode 12: Both LEDs will come on RED, stay on for the set Cycle Time, then flash 3 times, stay on for another Cycle Time and then go off.
Mode 13: Both LEDs will come on GREEN, stay on for the set Cycle Time, then flash 3 times, stay on for another Cycle Time and then go off.
Mode 14: LED's fade up RED, then fade to ORANGE, then to GREEN and then fades off.
Mode 15: One LED fades up RED, then fades to ORANGE, then to GREEN and then fades off while the other fades up GREEN, then fades to ORANGE, then to RED and then fades off.
Mode 16: In this mode, each time the board is triggered, it cycles through each of the 15 modes one at a time.

This small board will be found invaluable for projects and models using R/C type servos.

Test and calibrate hobbyist "R/C - Radio Control" type servos.

In Automatic mode, Servo-Check produces a pulse stream that makes the servo traverse smoothly through 90 degree at a speed determined by the potentiometer setting (approx 0.5 to 5 secs / 90 degree ).

Advanced users can add 2 standard 10k linear potentiometers to adjust the end stops for a simple, stand-alone animatronic controller module.

In Manual mode, the servo position is fully adjustable from 0 to 90 degrees by using the thumbwheel. Manual mode generates a standard servo pulse stream. The width of the pulses varies between 1.0msecs and 2.0 msecs depending on the position of the potentiometer. Turning the potentiometer fully to either end of its travel will cause the LED to light indicating that either a 1.0 or 2.0 pulse width which should correspond with a servo angle of either 0 or 90 degrees. Additionally, as the potentiometer is turned, the LED will light at positions corresponding to15, 30, 45, 60 degrees and 75 degrees , thereby providing a field calibration setup.

Works from standard 5-6 VDC supply and includes 3-pin header for all standard servos.

This 24" Servo Extension Booster for Futaba J servos allows you to place your servos farther away from the signal source in animatronics and robot projects.

Application and Setup Overview

This board allows the activation of two Solid State 2-Amp Relays by using the standard R/C Transmitter joystick. It has 4 modes of operation that are selected by the placement of 2 jumpers. The board is powered by the +5V coming from the servo connector.

Mode 1: Pulse Mode
When the joystick is moved to the left, Relay 1 activates and stays activated as long as the joystick stays in the left position. When the joystick returns to the center position, the relay deactivates. When the joystick is moved to the right, Relay 2 is activated and stays activated as long as the joystick stays in the right position. When the joystick returns to the center position, the relay deactivates.

Mode 2: Toggle Mode
When the joystick is moved to the left, Relay 1 is activated (toggled on) and stays on even when the joystick is returned to the center position. The relay is deactivated (toggled off) by moving the joystick to the left a second time. When the joystick is moved to the right, Relay 2 is activated (toggled on) and stays on even when the joystick is returned to the center position. The relay is deactivated (toggled off) by moving the joystick to the right a second time.

Mode 3: Double Pulse Mode
When the joystick is moved to either the right or left, both relays are activated at the same time and stay activated as long as the joystick is in the left or right position. As soon as the joystick returns to the center position, both relays are deactivated.

Mode 4: Double Toggle Mode
When the joystick is moved to either the right or left, both relays are toggled on and remain on when the joystick is returned to the center position. When the joystick is moved to either the right or left position a second time, both relays are toggled off.

Linear actuators are used to easily move things in push, pull, lift, lower, or straight in line direct forward, and backward mechanically movements.

Linear actuators generally consist of a DC motor connected to a screw drive through a set of gears. The screw drive is set inside of a tube which also has screw threads along the inside of the tube. When the motor turns, the screw turns inside the tube and (since the screw is firmly attached to the housing the screw can not move) the tube is moved in or out (depending on the direction of the motor's rotation).

Unique servo system provides true linear output motion from a standard (Futaba) R/C type servo. The linear servo converts the 42 in-oz torque from the Futaba servo into more than 1-lbf (foot-pound-force) of push and pull, linear control horn throw of 0.5" to 0.75" depending on end point adjustment from the signal source but will not exceed 0.75" max.

Excellent for animatronics applications where push and pull cable, rod or direct linear motion applications are needed.

This servo has a Futaba ( J-type ) connector which attaches directly to any 0.1" 3-pin header. 5Vdc power required.

Use this system to remote control the Sound Board VEGAS from a remote location up to 100 feet away.
It can be set up to playback channels 1-8 in random or sequence mode, or playback a single long channel each time the remote hand held is triggered.

This unique module connects a 1 - Channel Remote RF system quickly to the Sound Board VEGAS. The on board power supply connector provides power to operate the RF receiver directly at 12Vdc.

A header connector on a 4" ribbon cable quickly connects the control pins of the SB VEGAS to the 1- Ch RF Remote Receiver.
A set of jumper pins, allow the SB VEGAS to be placed into the Random, Sequence or Ch -1 playback mode.

An on board button allows the SB VEGAS to record sounds quickly without disconnecting the interface. The button also serves as a test function to playback sound and check the Sequence and Random board modes.
Board has RF receiver power indicator LED.

This unique combination of modules will connect the Ball Tilt Sensor module to the Sound Board ProE. As you rotate the ball tilt sensor 6 different Channels of sound can be triggered individualy as the sensor is rotated to different angle and positions.

The on board power supply provides power to operate the SB ProE from a single 12 Vdc power supply. The board has wire terminal blocks for quick connection between the Ball Tilt Sensor and the SB ProE.

Information Document

Unique servo signal controlled electronic video switching system which provides clean and fast switching between 4 video channels to 1 channel.
System allows 4 video channels to be switched to 1 master channel, by adjusting the R/C transmitter joystick, or assigning a servo signal value from any R/C PWM signal controller.

The Video switcher board will switch one of four video input signals to a buffered video output line. The Video Switcher board is suitable for all standard CCTV type video signals.

Small board approx. 2"x 4" with BNC connectors for the video and 9Vdc supply socket and servo connector.
Video Switching is done by a solid state unit using a standard 4 to 1 mux under micro processor control. The processor also measure the incoming servo pulse and determine which input to connect to the video output.

System is excellent for operating 4 different cameras, and sending video signal from one of the 4 cameras out to a remote transmitter. Put full 360 degree vision on your robot, airplane, animatronic character, or setup a covert operation with remote control.

Servo Signal
Adjusting the input signal (ie the pulse duration) will alter the video input being fed to the video output. The led by the side of the input socket will light when that particular input is live.
Input 1 is pulse widths between 1.0 -1.25 msecs
Input 2 is pulse widths between 1.25 - 1.5 msecs
Input 3 is pulse widths between 1.5 - 1.75 msecs
Input 4 is pulse widths between 1.75 - 2.0 msecs.
