8-Ch Sound Plexer Unit
This Sound Record and Playback Unit will allow you to record
and playback sounds to any combination of speakers from 1 to
all 8 independently, or mixed outputs 1-8, (example sound track
1 to 2,5, 7 speakers or sound track 1 to 1,3,5,8 speakers) or
simultaneously to all 8 speakers, with input triggers, Any combination
of speaker output can be programmed through the intuitive menu
system with LCD display. Send sound to speaker 2,6,8 when input
2 is triggered or send sound to 1, 8 when input 4 is triggered
with the Sound Plexer unit, which makes placing 8 different sound
in 8 different locations very easy to do now.
Imagine a ghost following someone down a hallway or a haunted
room with different sounds coming from objects around the room,
how about a model train layout with different sound effects throughout
the entire layout yet specific sounds at a specific location
when the train arrives or passes by. Image a doll house filled
with sound in different rooms and background music playing, or
an animatronic character that has different sounds effects for
different movements, all from a single sound controller unit.
Sound Plexer 8000 Features:
Record up to eight 1- minute tracks.
Record from either the built in Microphone or Line in from any
Sound source line out. (On board selection switch)
Built in LCD Display screen with an intuitive menu system for
quick and simple programming, recording and playback. NO PC computer
or host system needed.
Playback any Track through One or All eight Speakers simultaneously.
Each output is capable of driving an 8-Ohm speaker with 1 Watt
of continuous and up to 2 Watts of peak power.
Volume control for speaker output level.
8 Selectable inputs, which are edge triggered. Either low or
high going sensor pulse will trigger the input.
Programmable delays which will delay the track from playing after
an input has been triggered.
Program any switch input to trigger any track (Sound) out of
any of the eight speakers via the user programmable play list.
Play list are stored in EEPROM for data retention.
8 output jacks. (1/8" miniplugs)
Power connection Jack.
On board power for sensors / switches provided via the +-5V supply
out the phoenix style connector built on board.
System operates from 5 Vdc @ 4.0 Amp power supply (Wall type)
Compatible with PIR sensor modules.
