Description:	Workshop Information LEARN FROM A PROFESSIONAL! Special Announcement: The Monster Makers is pleased to welcome animatronics instructor Rick Stern for this valuable workshop event. Join us in this information packed seminar as Rick demystifies the field of animatronics and reveals off-the-shelf solutions to animatronic creation. Rick has over 20 years experience in the special effects movie industry, haunted attraction, academic environment, prototype fabrication and robotics competition. Participants of this workshop will experience a wide range of techniques for bringing to life animatronic characters including the basics of animatronic creature control, as well as more advanced automation techniques. In addition to seeing and participating in demonstrations, participants will receive documentation, lists of suppliers and other valuable reference material. You will see how to build sophisticated servo controlled performing animatronic characters without fancy machining or exotic electronics.
