4-Channel Manual Servo Controller with

This unique controller board was designed to allow the use of 2 remote wired joysticks to control 4-R/C servo motors. The minimum and maximum limits of movement for each servo can be programmed and are stored in non-volatile memory.

There is also a SS relay that is activated by pressing down on the joystick switch.
Joystick has rubber caps for good finger / thumb tip control and comfort.

5-Channel Ventriloquist / Puppet Controller
4-Ch Servo and 1-Ch Solid State Relay

This unique board consists of a 4-board set and 1-optional board, that are designed to allow the recording and playback of movement for up to 4 servos with special playback features and manual control of 1-Ch Solid State Relay. The special playback features makes this board an excellent choice for Puppet and Ventriloquist use, along with the easy programming of this board.

Over 10 minutes of servo movement can be recorded for each servo. Servo movement is recorded individually and playback of all servo recordings can be done individually or all at the same time by remote wire or RF wireless control.

Programming servo movement can be done via the on-board pot or via one of 2 different remote pot boards (rotary or optional linear). The 2 remote boards also have 2 small pushbuttons to start and stop programming. Playback can be started for any servo by providing a momentary dry contact closure at the associated terminal block located on the main board or on a remote terminal board. Also, there is a board with an RF Receiver and a Hand Held Controller that can be used to trigger the servos remotely.
Once the main board has been programmed the remote servo input board can be disconnected. A remote wireless RF Interface or a switch input board can be attached for control of the main board.
Program is stored on non-volatile on-board EEPROM

Unique Playback Features:
During playback, if another servo is selected, the currently playing servo is immediately stopped and the newly selected servo is started. All servos can be started together or independently activated at any time. There is also a solid state relay on the board that can be controlled at any time by a dry contact closure at its associated terminal block on the main board or the remote terminal board.

Separate power is required for the board and the servos and is attached to the main board via associated 2.1mm barrel-type connectors or adjacent terminal blocks.

Board can be powered from remote duo NiMH battery supply setup also.

The Wizard - 6 Controller is a Random and Pulse motion Servo Controller.

The controller board will operate two servo channels each with there own unique random servo motion outputs and one channel with variable speed and time pulse motion servo output.
The controller allows for setting the range of each servo's travel motion limits, along with adjustable servo speeds and random time rate features.

This controller is excellent for creating random moving eyes (Left / Right - Up / Down) and head motions, eyelid blinks or in other effects where automated random servo motion is needed using a self-contained servo motion driver board. No programming is required.

This unique board was designed to RANDOMLY move a servo in 2 user pre-programmed positions ­ Left or Right and center positions when triggered by a 12 VDC input signal When VDC input (12V DC) is received at the input control connector a randomly selected position is set by the on board microprocessor, left, or right and then moves the servo to that position as pre-set by the uses.When no input is present, the servo will go to the user pre-set center position and hold. Each servo end position can be held when 12 VDV signal is present
User can pre-program each of the 3 servo end positions ( L, C, R ) which is recorded and stored on board EEprom directly through on-board electronics.

Power to the servo can be supplied by the board itself, or from an external power supply connected at the Servo Power Connector. The board power connection configuration also allows for a servo with different voltage requirements beyond 5 Vdc to be used.

The board requires 7.5 ­ 9.0 VDC which is attached to the board at the 2.1mm barrel connector or the Alternate Power Connector.

Switch or remote relay applications require a 12 Vdc source pass through to controller board inputs.
The control voltage for a remote switch, remote relay can come from the on board power connector or by a separate power source.

Controller Instructions

3 Program Servo / Relay Controller Board

Controller Board will record 3-(12.5 minutes each routine) and playback the 3 different programmed servo routines to one standard hobby R/C type servo when activated. Manual operated on board Solid State digital relay has switched ON and OFF output. 3 - different servo control routines are pre-recorded into memory by the user. Programmed routines are then played back to servo by selecting 1-3 manual playback switch, or setting the board to looping or sequence function.
Board can be set to sequence function, where each servo routine is played back as channel 1 is activated. On board looping playback feature lets board run automatically. On board relay and servo routinesi can be activated by maual switch, remote relays or even by wireless hand held control.

Switch / VDC Input Servo Position Controller

This board was designed to allow the manual positioning of a servo in 3 user pre-programmed positions ­ Left, Center and Right positions.
When VDC input (5-12V DC) Manual Switch, Remote relay or RF system relay closure is received at the 2 input control connectors on the board ,the servo travel is sent to that position, left, right, and center represented by the inputs. When no input is present, the servo will go to the center position and hold. Each servo position can be held at, or momentary reached and moved on.
User can pre-program each of the 3 servo end positions ( L, C, R ) which is recorded and stored on board EEprom directly through on-board electronics.

Power to the servo can be supplied by the board itself, or from an external power supply connected at the Servo Power Connector. The board power connection configuration also allows for a servo with different voltage requirements beyond 5 Vdc to be used.

The board requires 7.5 ­ 24V DC which is attached to the board at the 2.1mm barrel connector or the Alternate Power Connector.

Switch or remote relay applications require a 5-12 Vdc source pass through to controller board inputs.
The control voltage for a remote switch, remote relay can come from the on board power connector or by a separate power source.

Controller Instructions

3-Channel Randon R/C Servo Driver

Board will move 3 servos randomly, independent of each other. You can set the min and max limits of travel and speed of movement for each R/C servo.

You can attach the servos directly to the board or to a small interface board and cable. Yellow Status LEDs for each servo, servo connection header pins and quick connector wire terminal blocks or power jacks for the board electronics and power for the servos.

This board has 2 modes of operation :
Set Mode, where you program in the min and max travel limits for each attached R/C servo and Run Mode, where the servos randomly move back and forth between the limits that were programmed.

Run Mode: Once the servo limits of travel have been set, the board can be put into Run Mode. In Run Mode, the on board potentiometers pots will now control the speed of movement for each of the 3 servos as they move randomly between the min and max limits. Each servo can have a different speed set, allowing various effects to be created as the R/C servo move.

There is a 4th on board 3-pin servo connector located near the 10-pin ribbon cable connector on the Main Board. This is to allow you to connect a servo input from another board, like a sound-to-servo board, and have it's signal transmitted independently through the ribbon cable to the remote R/C servo connection interface board

Board operates from duo power supplies, a regulated 9 VDC @ 2 Amp power supply for the on board electronicsand a 5 Vdc @ 2Amp power supply for the R/C servos.

This unique board will allow the control of 8 Solid State relays in four modes of operation. Each relay has a test button and indicator. There are 2 potentiometers that will control the on times and off times (as appropriate) of the relays. Two Mode Indicators will indicate which of the 4 modes is selected. This unique BPE exclusive small custom controller board was designed to operate a standard R/C servo in several user modes. Mode one is running the servo to a programmed minimum and maximum limit by the push of button 1 or 2. The user can activate button 3 to play back a previously recorded user sequence of servo movement (up to 15 minutes recorded time).

Three Buttons on the control board or remote buttons determine what the servo will do ­ (1) move to the minimum position, (2) move to the maximum position or to (3) continuously loop the user recorded sequence. On board potentiometer / program button and EEPROM allow user to record and store servo routine needed (15 minutes )

The servo is connected to the board either by the 3-pin servo connector or by the servo terminal block. The board requires a power source 7.5V dc to 9V dc at 800 mA or greater. Power can be hooked to the board either by a 2.1mm power connector or by the alternate power terminal wire block.

This board was designed to allow the independent programming and playback of 4 RC servos and 2 SS relays. Two program routines can be stored and played back at the pressing of a remote switch. Additionally, there are 2 SS relays that are manually controlled.

Controller board can be started / stopped along recorded routines
Optional Emergency bail out routine can be recorded for quick stage exits, or events not pre planned.

All programs are stored on non-volatile on-board EEPROM. The board requires 2 separate power sources ­ one to power the electronics on the board (7.5 ­ 24V, 100 mA) and one to power the servos (voltage and current dependent upon the servos used). Minimum and maximum servo limits can be programmed in and stored on the board as well. The min and max limits programmed in for each servo applies for both routines. Jumpers on the board are used to set programming mode, playback, routine and select servo.

Board can be combined with optional RF remote for wireless control of playback routines by ventriqulist / puppeteer.

The AutoTalk -E2 board is similar in function with all the exact features of the original AutoTalk board developed several years ago for professional animatronic clients, in that it moves an R/C type servo in response to either an audio input signal from any standard CD player, tape recorder, sound source, but now has jumper setting for greater sensitivity in using the board from a sound source with low signal input, such as found on a digital sound chips or direct connected mic amplifier and dynamic microphone setup. The board has an on-board voltage regulator for using a variety of voltage sources including the use of a battery for remote applications, a quick connector for connecting power, LED power status indicator and enhanced output to operate a standard R/C servo with greater response. The controller includes the function to set both the servo end travel points, an important feature when working with various mouth jaw sizes, the servo arm direction of travel can also be quickly changed by an on-board jumper and the sensitivity of the audio input signal through the improved on-board gain control have also been enhanced for greater response.

This unique 4 channel servo and 1 channel solid state relay board was designed to allow the use of a remote joysticks in manual or in user program mode to control 4 servo motors and 1- solid state relay.

The joysticks are located on a small remote board connected to the main board via an 6 foot ribbon cable. The minimum and maximum limits of movement travel for each servo can be programmed and are stored in non-volatile memory.

There is also a Solid State relay that is activated by a toggle switch (also on the remote board). The board has separate power entries for board power and servo power with the ability of using a remote switch to turn either on or off. Both remote boards have LED indicators that show the presence of board power and servo power.

The user has the ability to record and playback up to 10.5 minutes of servo and relay activity. User can switch between manual and recorded playback with on board pushbutton switches. When user is in playback mode, and needs to manual control servos, a simple press of the red stop button , halts the playback routine and instantly allow control of the servos / relay by manual method. Programming servo / relay motion is set by on board selection switch and the activation of the red record/ stop button switch during real time programming.
